Walleyes have definitely began moving out deeper and the bite was on this past week. Look to break-lines in 12-17 feet of water and drive around until you start marking bait and the fish wont be far away. The main lake rocks are kicking out fish as well as the major points on the South end such as Rogers, Diamond, and Partridge Point as well as the East End with Five Mile and Battle.
Wind blow shorelines have also been good when you have a wind blowing for a couple days. On the West End of the Lake, look to Traders Bay, West Goose Flats, Little Hardwoods, and areas in Sucker Bay to best your best producers.
Lindy Rigs with Crawlers and Leeches are starting to excel and anglers are still catching them with Jigs and Shiners and even artificials. Being versatile and having the different kinds of bait and presentations ready in your boat is a major key this time of year.
Dont overlook trolling spinners and even crankbaits as well to cover water and as the bug hatch starts spinners will start to become a great way to catch fish.
